Salt + Light `Ohana,
This Sunday, we will be continuing in the book of Acts, looking at the life of Saul. Saul began persecuting followers of Jesus, and then he had an amazing encounter with Jesus that transformed his life. But Saul’s journey didn’t end there! He continued to keep his focus on Jesus, and God transformed him into the apostle Paul. How did this amazing transformation happen? It was a matter of focus. In this time, we need to keep our focus on Jesus as well, if we are going to become all that God wants us to become! It isn’t easy, so come and see what we can do together to “Flip Our Focus!”
Happy Father’s Day weekend!

First Anniversary Celebration
Join us on Sunday, July 12th, to celebrate Salt + Light’s one-year anniversary! Praise the Lord for what He has done and all He will do!
We will be gathering in the little park across the street from Waikiki School. Please bring your beach chairs or a towel to sit on, your Bibles, and some cans of SPAM, which we will be distributing to the neighbors! For those of us who can’t make it in person, we will also be providing an online service, so you can join us at home!

Reminder! Surveys are due on Sunday, June 21st!
Dear Salt + Light `Ohana,
As a church family, we look forward to the day when we can meet together in person for our worship service on a Sunday morning! Thank you for your patience and understanding, and continued participation in our online worship services, online small groups and serving opportunities! As far as meeting on campus again, we are waiting to hear from the Department of Education and Waikiki School about when we would be allowed to use their facilities. It could happen sometime this summer, or at a later date, the bottom line is that we just don’t know when that time will come.
In the meanwhile, we have decided to put together an online survey, in order to hear from your thoughts, and better understand how our church is feeling about returning to in-person worship services. We would really appreciate your feedback so that we can make the transition back as safe, smooth and welcoming as possible for you, your `ohana and our community!

We want to give everyone a few weeks to complete the survey, and ask that you please fill it out by Sunday, June 21st at 10:00pm.
We look forward to hearing from you!
With love and thanks,
Pastor Max
Blessing the HPD Waikiki Substation!
What a blessing it was to be able to serve our police officers on Wednesday! We had an opportunity to bring lunch to the HPD Waikiki Substation, and pray for our officers, and learned how we can better pray for our Diamond Head/Waikiki community! Thank you to all of you who came out to be a part of the blessing!
Now is the time to pray! We are gathering together to pray as a church (via Zoom) on Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:15pm. Please join us! Everyone is invited!
“…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
